Nader Rastakhiz was born in Iran, in 1954 and currently lives in San Diego, California. He received his BA from the Fine Art School of Design in1979 and MA from San Diego State University in 1982.
At age 16, through the inspiration and encouragement of a high school teacher, Nader discovered both his love of art and his own talent for drawing and painting.

Nader emigrated to San Diego, California where he continues to expand his creativity. Greatly influenced by modern masters from Cezanne to Picasso, Nader's boldly colorful paintings are filled with love, music and nature.
