Metodija Jovanov is a Macedonian fine artist.
While traditional painting is his main focus, as a visual artist he also dips his toes in photo and video editing, and collage from time to time.
In his art he explores a variety of topics, however his muse is, by and large, pop culture. Metodija describes his work as “excellent kitsch” protesting the pretentiousness of “good taste” and minimalism.
Among his biggest influences he, personally, lists: Diana Vreeland, Andy Warhol, Yves Saint Laurent, Dita Von Teese, Elton John, Tamara de Lempicka, Paris Hilton, Lana Del Rey and Henri Matisse.
