Pen & ink

I have been trying to combine my own style with that of the likes of Patrick Nagel. I think I have finally become comfortable with where I am now.

5 “5”

Today it is the lovely Adria Arjona on my board, taken from a scene in the movie 6 Underground where she plays "5". Done by hand in ink, colored pencil and acrylic.

Hope “Hope”

This is dedicated to Charlotte Louise Cope “Charl”. A 23 yr old NHS paramedic in South Wales that suddenly passed away on April 13th while fighting to care for others during the pandemic. This is dedicated to ALL those fighting for all of us everyday, but her story struck me differently as she was so young and that she had so many difficulties throughout her young life to finally overcome those battles only to then dedicate her life to others. She died fighting the good fight as many others have, and I salute all of you including my step daughter Allyson Morris my wife Tammy Creekmore, Amber King and Krissy Dull.

Blue Dream “Blue Dream”

My favorite subject Riae also done in my cross style of Patrick Nagel and myself. Based off the photo by Christian Saint. @christiansaintphoto @riae_

All pencil renderings.

3 Eagles “3 Eagles”

I find the on going treatment of Native Americans horrid and disgusting. Greed of this nations people and corporations has continued to allow them to be taken advantage of time and time again. Maybe one day we'll collectively pull our heads out of our own asses and finally just keep a promise of land to these once proud people. After all, thats all they've ever asked for, for us to keep our promises.

Marjosuicide done in pencil and acrylic. I ran across her on Instagram and fell for her eyes. Had to do this one.

Prolific “Prolific”

My rendering of rapper Nipsey Hussle, done in pencil and acrylic. I draw certain musicians for a reason. I feel more than most (I believe) while listening to music and I cannot create without my music. Having 4000 songs on my iPod allows me to feel every note in a song along with every stroke of my pen. Without my music my art would mean nothing, I feel the image every time.

Chris Cornell “Chris Cornell”

Everything Chris Cornell was involved with always turned out beautifully. I admired him a great deal and could always feel all the emotions in his voice as he sang. This rendering is done in pencil and acrylic. I draw certain musicians for a reason. I feel more than most (I believe) while listening to music and I cannot create without my music. Having 4000 songs on my iPod allows me to feel every note in a song along with every stroke of my pen. Without my music my art would mean nothing, I feel the image every time.

Sadie & Clive “Sadie & Clive”

Sadie and Clive are a fun duo I found on Instagram and I immediately fell in love with Clive ( since I’m a Great Dane owner myself). Done in pencil and acrylic

Chief Red Bird / Cheyenne. 1927 “Chief Red Bird / Cheyenne. 1927”

Titan “Titan”

Titan is a Siberian Husky I did for a client that allowed me permission to sell prints of the original done in pencil and acrylic.

Son House “Son House”

The bluesman Son House dome in pencil and acrylic. I draw certain musicians for a reason. I feel more than most (I believe) while listening to music and I cannot create without my music. Having 4000 songs on my iPod allows me to feel every note in a song along with every stroke of my pen. Without my music my art would mean nothing, I feel the image every time

Maynard “Maynard”

Maynard James Keenan of Tool, Perfect Circle & Pucifier. I draw certain musicians for a reason. I feel more than most (I believe) while listening to music and I cannot create without my music. Having 4000 songs on my iPod allows me to feel every note in a song along with every stroke of my pen. Without my music my art would mean nothing, I feel the image every time.
