Born in San Diego, California at the end of World War Two, Hull established Ladybug Art Calligraphy Studio in 1975. She ran her own art gallery of five decades, showing her own work, as well as that of other artists.
She is a multiple award winning artist, specializing in the art of beautiful handwriting, lettering for many universities, businesses and individuals. She has written and illustrated a children's book, "Adventure with Barney" and has her art in many homes and business.
She continues to teach art in many mediums from her home studio in San Diego.
