Alexandria
is an award-winning artist and illustrator from Toronto. Alexandria studied
with the Academy of Realist Arts. She is a graduate from the Claude Watson Arts
Program, Canada’s top arts program, and from U.B.C. She is the third generation
of Swartz artists in Canada.
Alexandria
is the illustrator of the children’s book series My Friend Pink Bear. Her love of ancient civilizations shines in
the book My Friend Pink Bear at the Arena. Pink Bear hits his head on the ice
and imagines he is in a Roman Coliseum. It is a fun story of perseverance as
Jimmy struggles learning to skate. Many of the My Friend Pink Bear books touch
on subjects that many kids struggle with, such as bullying, fear of the dark,
battling cancer, and perseverance.
Painted at the age of 12, Alexandria’s Mallard Duckling won the top prize in the Canadian Wildlife Association’s national art contest.

“My Friend Pink Bear in the Dark”
Alexandria is the illustrator of the children's book series My Friend Pink Bear. Many of the Pink Bear books touch on subjects that many kids struggle with, in this book, Jimmy and his stuffed friend Pink Bear overcome their fear of the dark with encouragement from big brother Michael. The book series is very supportive and are beautifully illustrated by Alexandria. The books are for young readers but will touch the hearts of all ages.
