Andrea Hazel

Andrea was born in Charleston, SC where she still resides. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Marymount College, Tarrytown, New York, a Master of Education in Counseling from The Citadel in Charleston, and additional study in Studio Art at the College of Charleston. Andrea retired from Trident Technical College in North Charleston where she taught mathematics in the Developmental Studies Program. She has also recently retired her business, Andrea Hazel Photography. She has been painting in watercolors since 2001, and is now immersed in Andrea Hazel Watercolors and Oils full time. She is passionate about art. She is an exhibiting member of the South Carolina Watermedia Society and an exhibiting member of the Charleston Artist Guild. Her work can currently be seen at Drayton Hall Plantation, Caw Caw Interpretive Center and the Charleston Artist Guild Gallery. Andrea is married to Frank Hamilton, and they have three children and five grandchildren.
