Ruxandra
Ştefana Munteanu was born in 1979 in Bucharest, Romania. She is a BFA of
Bucharest National University of
Arts, Textile
Arts Department (2002), a MFA
of the same university, Scenography
Department (2004), and a BA of the University of
Bucharest, Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures, Translation –
Interpreting, English – Spanish. She is
a member of Romanian Plastic Artists Union (2004), of the International
Association of Art (2014) and of Visarta (2010). Throughout her activity she
has exhibited screen and/or hand printed textile panels, textile collages,
acrylic paintings, ink drawings, book-objects and scenographic objects. Until
now she participated in over 9 solo exhibitions and more than 157 collective
and group exhibitions, of which over 115 exhibitions in Romania, 12 exhibitions
abroad and 9 international itinerant exhibitions (unfolded, 26 exhibitions in
Romania and 4 exhibitions abroad).
