Hannah "Hunter" Hull is the creator of Burning Salt, an award-nominated interdisciplinary multimedia and musical project. The project takes its name from the ancient practice of "burning salt," which is an act of ritual expulsion, purification, or protection. Under this alias, Hull uses song, poetry, drawing, photography, and film to explore themes of home, childhood, trauma, and resilience. Hull studied Fine Art at Goldsmiths, University of London. They are a TEDx speaker, and their first book, Home is a place that visits me, is published by Arachne Press.
