Hyder is a
Lahore-based printmaker and a Fine Arts graduate with honors from the National
College of Arts, Lahore (2015). His monochromatic work investigates memories.
He received the Young Artist Award at Alhamra, Lahore.
Hyder
has exhibited widely, including Before
There Was a Monsoon at Gandhara Art Space, Karachi; Multiplicity at Islamabad Art Festival, PNCA; Configuration at Tanzara Gallery, Islamabad; Feature Art at Art Next Gallery, Lahore; and Print Pals, the print collaboration between NCA and Slade UCL. Then and Now at Zahoor-ul-Akhlaq
Gallery, Lahore. He was also part of the traveling exhibition IPEP Microcosm, curated by Lina Vincent.
Hyder
has been a Printmaker-in-Residence at Inkster
Print Studio and an Artist-in-Residence at Tasweer Ghar, Lahore. In 2020, he worked as a master printmaker for
Rachid Koraïchi’s project for LBF. Since 2017, he has co-managed Inkster Print
Studio in Lahore. His work is in the permanent collection of the Ambiance
Hotel.
Hyder is
a visiting faculty at NCA Rawalpindi and pursuing a Master’s in Art Education
at Beaconhouse National University, Lahore.
