Behzad Mojarad Bigdeli, known by his stage name “BarBeni,” was born in 1981 in Tehran, Iran. He completed his studies in architecture and later obtained a two-year degree in sculpture from the University of Tehran.
A self-taught artist in drawing, he has held several exhibitions on themes such as freedom, human rights, and nature, winning multiple awards in the fields of cartoons and caricature.
For nearly three years, he has been living in Germany, where he has participated in several group exhibitions in Oldenburg and Hamburg.
During this time, many of his paintings have been sold on reputable platforms such as Catawiki, SingularArt, and Saatchi.
He is highly passionate about sharing his experiences and skills with the younger generation.

“Anahita – Persian Goddess of Sacred Waters and Beauty”

“Say Nothing” is an original oil painting inspired by the mystical poetry and philosophy of the great Persian poet and mystic Rumi (Mawlana Jalal al-Din Muhammad Rumi).
The painting presents a mysterious and regal woman adorned with an elaborate jeweled crown and richly decorated garments. Her calm expression and distant gaze evoke a profound sense of silence, mystery and inner contemplation.
