I am a landscape painter but also love painting animals, still life, and people. I love to experiment with different paints and other media.
This is the first painting that I've produced since moving home last year, its very poignant, a row of three ripening pears from the little pear tree in our new garden, sitting reflected on a polished mahogany table. the table was a gift from a new neighbour and the pear tree was given by the same neighbour to his friends that lived here a few years ago. The pear tree was loaded with fruit this year, this tree literally is a gift that keeps giving and I feel honoured to have this tree and this friend in our lives.

The bright, rich autumnal colours in this painting were achieved by using Inktense pencils and water and ink pen on Inktense watercolour paper.
