An artistic approach that moves between
the artwork, the installation, and the collection.
My work focuses on form,
material, and their relationship with space.
Objects, constructions, and images
engage in a dialogue with experience,
memory, and collective perception. I primarily use
oil paints, though I also enjoy
experimenting with acrylics and
various mixed media techniques. I operate on the boundary
between realism and abstraction.
At the same time, I maintain a personal collection
of works by contemporary artists
and create large-scale constructions
for public spaces and carnival installations.
— Short Art Analysis
In “My One and Only,” the human figure and the beloved animal come together in a tender, almost inseparable embrace. The intimate, close-up composition eliminates the distance between the subject and the viewer, immediately conveying a sense of affection, trust, and profound emotional connection.
The warm colour palette, dominated by earthy and reddish tones, enhances the feeling of warmth and intimacy, while the expressive eyes become a central narrative element of the painting. The woman’s radiant smile and the cat’s penetrating gaze create a compelling visual dialogue between human tenderness and the animal’s distinct personality.
The title, “My One and Only,” transforms the image from a simple portrait into a visual confession of love — a tribute to the unique bond between humans and animals, to companionship, and to those silent yet deeply meaningful relationships that hold an irreplaceable place in our hearts.
