I am a contemporary water media artist living in Tucson, Arizona. I work in watercolor, acrylic and mixed media. I often use collage and layered elements in my work. I love creating texture and using materials I find around me.

My inspiration comes from the beauty I see in the Sonoran desert. I have a longtime interest in the way color and shape can be used to evoke mood and capture the essence of the environment. I have learned to see with new eyes and to appreciate even the smallest nuances of nature. My current focus is exploring techniques that reflect this inspiration. Nature is my starting place and I love expressing my insights through many types of media.

I am a member of several art organizations including Southern Arizona Watercolor Society, Contemporary Artists of Southern Arizona, Southern Arizona Arts Guild, Tubac Center for the Arts, Tucson Art Trails, Tucson Mountains Artists Collaborative and Contempo Edge.
