Emerging contemporary visual artist Lily Kassab was
born in 1984 in Damascus. She developed an interest in
drawing while at school. In 2004, she graduated from
the Institute of Arts and Design in Damascus, and after
nineteen years of working as a designer, she became a
full-time artist in late 2024.
Since arriving in Dublin, Lily has exhibited at prestigious
venues like the Guinness Gallery and is currently
showcasing her work at the Russell Gallery and Gallerie
Soho.
Her work featured in The Holy Art Magazine and Suboart
Magazine explores race, memory, identity, and change,
drawing inspiration from both Syrian and Irish cultures.
Last month, she participated in a group exhibition with
Artemedia in Milan, an exciting milestone in her evolving
artistic journey
