Our perception of the world depends on our points of view. The focus of my art lies in 'the change through seeing from different perspectives'. I build up my artworks with geometrical abstract elements. They represent societies in transition. Western (Emmanuel Levinas) and non-Western (Ubuntu) philosophical concepts play an important role in my art. My theme, 'Hen Panta', is about the underlying coherence between everyone and everything, about humanity and making connections. What connects more than the line, not only in art, but also when people shake hands or have conversations by telephone or communicate by other lines that are possible today? I transform my objects in different ways, and have made surprising discoveries I like to share with you.
