Portfolio:

PAREIDOLIAN NATURE

I am a Costa Rican artist and I have exhibited in many art galleries, and I live here in Costa Rica, where landscapes and seascapes always offers hidden pareidolia, because aboriginal people always practice this psychological phenomenon involving the perception of patterns, especially of rudimentary faces and spiritual animal symbols, where none actually exist. That is why these pareidolian paintings are mainly about nature. If you spot any examples of pareidolia in my paintings, share your beliefs and explain your favorites as well! Thanks a lot for this opportunity.

PAREIDOLIAN CLOUDY FOREST “ PAREIDOLIAN CLOUDY FOREST ”

IRENE VÍQUEZ, PAREIDOLIAN CLOUDY FOREST, oil on canvas, 30 inches x 40 inches, 2019

CLOUDY FORESTS ARE ALWAYS PAREIDOLIAN FORESTS, YOU CAN FIND OTHER IMAGES IN ITS LANDSCAPE, BECAUSE AS ANCESTRAL ABORIGINAL CULTURES BELEIEVED, EVERY CLOUD, EVERY TREE AND EVERY PLANT, OWN THEIR SPIRIT

PAREIDOLIAN BEACH “PAREIDOLIAN BEACH”

PAREIDOLIAN BEACH, mixed media on canvas, 30 x 40 inches.

EACH BEACH HAS IT HAS THE WAVES AND THE CLOUDS THAT, NEXT TO THE SAND AND THE STONES, FORM IMAGES OF IMAGINARY SPIRITS
