Zhang Yongxu is an independent visual artist specializing in oil painting and mixed-media creation.
He has held solo exhibitions in Beijing, Bangkok, New York, and San Francisco, including a touring show at MoMA PS1 and the Asia Art Center in the 1990s.
His works have been exhibited at the Xinjiang International Art Biennale (2012–2024) and the China Oil Painting Exhibition, and are collected by public and private institutions.
His practice explores cultural mobility, personal experience, and social change.
