I am a landscape painter based in Montreal, inspired by the beauty and complexity of nature. Since beginning my artistic journey after retirement in 2012, my work has been a heartfelt interpretation of the emotions and experiences drawn from my travels, exploring a variety of mountains and landscapes. Mount Royal in Montréal, Québec, remains a constant muse for me, echoing the beauty I’ve witnessed during my journeys and showcasing its charm across the seasons.
When I paint, I step into a timeless space, allowing my work to tell a story. I hope to transport viewers, inviting them to experience the landscapes alongside me. While my collections explore specific themes, each piece is a one-of-a-kind creation, born from a deep connection to the subject.
Having spent my career in mental health services and entrepreneurship, I’ve always embraced change and sought to understand human behaviour. This spirit of curiosity and exploration continues to guide my art, with every canvas offering a new opportunity to discover, create, and tell a story.
