I have always viewed the world a bit differently, it's many layers, colors and textures. From my first experience with a manual camera and a dark room in 1980, the lens has been my catalyst to share these visions.
The ability to freeze a fleeting moment of time; when the colors are just right because the light is just right, or the movement is unique and will never be repeated, these are the events that inspire me.
If I can evoke an emotion, a memory, or spark a sudden reaction or novel idea or thought, then I have obtained my goal. While our world and my work is now mostly digital, static images are still important. They remind us to be still, be peaceful and to take a moment to be mindful of our surroundings and perhaps discover something new.
