Aloel was born in a beautiful Latvian resort town. Her earliest memories include drawing on the white doors of her family’s apartment, as well as seeing shapes of faces, human figures and animals in random patterns, water stains and clouds. She spent much of her early years painting with oils and sketching with charcoal, though she never attended an art school. Instead her path led her into healing - first as a medical doctor, and later as a naturopathic doctor in Canada.

During the years of living in Canada she has participated in a few group exhibits in Toronto as well as sold some paintings through galleries and directly to private collectors.

Following an early retirement, Aloel delved wholeheartedly into visual art. After completing the Mastery Program at the Milan Art Institute she has become a full time artist.

For the past 7 years Aloel lived and created in her small eco home in the Bulgarian wilderness, surrounded by oak trees, bird singing and mountain views. At present, she has relocated back to Ontario, Canada, where she has found as beautiful and harmonious conditions for her life and creativity, as before.
