Jade is a New York based, Chinese-American artist. She was trained in Chinese brush painting in the 80’s and the early 90’s in Hong Kong. While studying in Canada in the mid-90’s, Jade explored oil and watercolor painting. Jade received a BBA at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and a MIA at Columbia University, New York. She continued her training in painting throughout her studies. After a fourteen-year career as an analyst in various financial institutions in which she never gave up making art, Jade became a full-time artist. Currently, she enjoys introducing and teaching Chinese brush painting in different communities.
