Photography has accompanied me since my school days, when I first discovered the magic of analogue photography and the darkroom. After years of snapshots during my time as a flight attendant, a workshop in ZEN photo art in 2015 became the turning point that drew me deeply into photography. Further training at the European Photo Academy in Rastatt laid the foundation for my artistic path.
Initially focusing on macro and ZEN photography, I found my true passion in ICM (Intentional Camera Movement). Inspired by J.M.W. Turner and Claude Monet, I create images that move beyond documentation—my “heart photography.” With camera movements I translate light, colour, form and essence into dreamlike, often painterly impressions.
I work without digital effects, relying solely on long exposures and subtle ND filters. The images arise almost entirely in-camera, with minimal post-processing.
Since 2022 I have been presenting my work in exhibitions and competitions, including international showcases. My goal is to enchant viewers, invite them to pause, and to experience the world through a more poetic, emotional lens.
This year I spent some time in Provence. The summer was in the air, lavender scent mingled with the heat. I let myself be carried by the places and used ICM photography to capture the movement of sky and landscape. The result were calm, dreamy, almost watercolor-like images. Two weeks of artist residence gave me time to detach from everything and fully devote myself to the art.
This June, I spent two weeks in Provence. Summer lingered in the air, the scent of lavender blending with the shimmering heat. Driving from place to place, I let myself drift, pausing wherever I felt drawn to stay. Using ICM photography, I captured the subtle movements of sky and landscape, creating serene, dreamy, almost watercolour-like images. Two weeks in an artist residency, detached from everyday life, gave me the space to reflect on new projects, define fresh goals, and experience an unforgettable summer.
