I have enjoyed many forms of fiber art since a young age. When I began weaving, this art form quickly led me to my passion; creating wool paintings needle felted on to a hand-woven canvas while on my loom. Born and raised on the south coast of Vancouver Island, I have always been inspired by the sights, smells and sounds of our natural spaces. My wool paintings are inspired by these places I have loved throughout my life.

Some of my favorite memories as a child were conversations with my Grandad; he did not talk much, but his stories of his service, his injuries and lasting ‘friendships with brothers’ has stayed with me, with loving memory

A Christmas song for people who are lonely at Christmas!
We need a song like that."
