Judy Cooper is a photographer and writer who lives and works in New Orleans, Louisiana. Her personal work has been shown in numerous local, regional and national exhibitions. Her resume lists such venues as New Orleans, New York, Houston, TX, Chicago, IL and Kaunas, Lithuania. A major exhibition of her work was shown at the New Orleans Museum of Art in 2008. It was accompanied by a catalogue entitled Living Color. In 2023, a book by Cooper with numerous photographs, Dancing in the Streets, was published by the Historic New Orleans Collection.
