Location: Japan
Born in 2008 Lives in Japan
At the age of eight, I held my first solo exhibition in Japan. after that, I held many solo exhibitions in Japan
In March 2018, I won the Silver Prize at the “Go for the Louvre! Painting Competition.
It was exhibited at the Louvre Museum in Paris, France.
I have been trying my hand at live painting since I was 10 years old and have worked all over Japan.
I collaborated with artists and companies to launch my Ruchika brand. A world view that captures things from a unique perspectiveattracts
attention from all over the world.
★Self Introduction★
I was born to a Nepalese father and a Japanese mother, and have grown up with a unique sense of dual identity.
When I was four, we moved from the city to the deep mountains. Surrounded by nature, I often came across deer, bears, and wild boars.
Drawing has always been my passion—even in school, my notebooks were filled with sketches rather than notes.
At the age of seven, I took two months off school to travel across nine islands in the Philippines with my mother and siblings.
That journey opened my eyes to global issues like pollution, conflict, and peace, which later became core themes in my artwork.
I lost my grandfather at twelve and my grandmother at fifteen.
These moments sparked my curiosity about the afterlife.
Rather than portraying death as something dark, I use vivid colors to express it as a peaceful, new world filled with hope.
During my teenage years, I chose an alternative path of learning that allowed me to study and grow through art at my own pace.
This time gave me the freedom to explore deeply—both within myself and the world around me.
“Through my art, I want to share light, courage, and comfort.
And to leave behind proof that many beautiful lives have existed on this Earth.”
