Terry Woodall

Terry Woodall has created native sea life and wildlife carvings from Oregon Myrtlewood on his rain forest land close to Coos Bay and the Pacific Ocean since 1980. His art work has been exhibited across the USA and internationally, including New York, London, Russia and China. He has also written and published the only book ever written on the history and art of Oregon Myrtlewood. Terry's style includes realistic, carved renditions and free form carved figures emerging from natural wood shapes. He maintains a close affinity with his medium that begins as living, organic entities; Oregon rain forest trees; and funnels their remnants into expressive northwest wildlife and sea life.
