Joseph Zicchinella’s works are created by an experimental pictorial technique, which the artist calls Transcollage. It is an expressive means obtained by fusing paint and material, which is incorporated between thin Plexiglas slabs. Transcollage is also a growing innovative process in which a variety of materials are explored. The direction the artwork takes is dependent upon the artist’s creativity at the time.
