Honours Degree in Fine Art, University of Durham.
Art Lecturer 1964-1976.
Full-time professional painter since then. Began to exhibit in Paris in 1993. Still there,showing his work at Cygnerose in
the Rue St. Paul.
Also exhibits in the USA at galleries in Texas and California.
In 2012 has started to exhibit in Amsterdam also.
Now seeking outlets in Venice....and Spain.
Cavan enjoys European cultures, cities and landscapes. His work is direct,figurative, and often dramatic.
