Cornelis Morales

accepted contemporary master of etchings and engravings. Regular participant in the major independent exhibitions in the Netherlands and every now and then in other countries- just opportunity based.

I connect the traditional art forms of etching and engraving with innovative technology such as
Artificial Intelligence, 3D printing, robotics and imaging software. In
this triangle my contribution is the deep understanding and
internalizing of both extremes and to use my artistic expression to
create new works that could not have been made before.

Etchings and engravings to the core, each and every work is hand-printed by myself from the copper plates using the roller press with quality ink on museum grade etching paper and has all the traditional qualities of those classical art forms. In addition, my work has that third dimension that emerges when innovative technology
removes barriers we were not even aware of.
