I am a Spanish abstract painter and the creator of Divergent Expressionism, a personal artistic language that explores the emotional and material intensity of painting through gesture, texture, movement, and chromatic tension.
Working from Castellbisbal, near Barcelona, I create large-format works that emerge from a direct and intuitive engagement with the canvas. My practice is driven by the interaction between impulse and transformation, where layered matter, energetic marks, and evolving structures generate dynamic fields of visual experience. Each painting develops through successive stages, preserving traces of action, rupture, and reconstruction.
Divergent Expressionism embraces contradiction, instability, and change as essential forces within the creative process. Rather than seeking harmony or fixed outcomes, my work evolves through tensions between gesture and structure, intuition and reflection, presence and disappearance. The painting becomes a living field in which meaning remains open and continually transforming.
My work often evokes inner landscapes, cosmic expansion, and the raw energy of creation while remaining firmly rooted in abstraction. The visible surface records a process of discovery in which material, color, and movement become vehicles for emotional and existential exploration.
My paintings have been exhibited in cultural and institutional spaces, and I am included in the AAAeE – Archivo de Artistas Abstractos Españoles (Fundación Juan March). My artistic trajectory is defined by a commitment to authenticity, experimentation, and the development of a distinctive visual identity.
My practice is primarily driven by research, artistic development, and conceptual exploration rather than commercial objectives. Each work forms part of an ongoing investigation into the expressive possibilities of abstraction and the evolving foundations of Divergent Expressionism.

Divergent Expressionism is the artistic language I have developed as a response to the limits of traditional abstraction. My work emerges from a state of heightened presence, where gesture, matter, and intuition converge to form a visual territory that is both visceral and reflective. Each painting is the result of an encounter between impulse and structure, chaos and order, accident and intention.
Rather than seeking representation, my practice focuses on the energetic trace of the creative act. Thick textures, layered pigments, and dynamic chromatic tensions become evidence of a process that is alive, unpredictable, and deeply connected to the body. The canvas is not a surface to be filled, but a field of resonance where emotion, memory, and movement coexist.
Divergent Expressionism embraces transformation. A work may evolve over hours or days, shifting as my own internal state shifts. This openness to change is essential: the painting grows with me, revealing new paths, new rhythms, new intensities. What remains constant is the search for authenticity — a raw, unfiltered visual language that speaks directly to the viewer.
My intention is not to impose meaning, but to invite contemplation. Each piece offers a space where viewers can project their own narratives, sensations, and interpretations. Cosmos Cromática is a large‑scale exploration of Divergent Expressionism, where color, gesture, and matter collide to evoke the vastness of a living universe. Expansive chromatic fields, layered textures, and dynamic movements create a sense of cosmic energy in constant transformation. The work invites the viewer into an immersive space where light, emotion, and chaos coexist, suggesting the birth of stars, the pulse of nebulae, and the silent tension of the unknown.
Nacimiento del Cosmos captures the explosive moment where matter, light, and energy first emerge into existence.
