Location: Spain

I am a Spanish abstract painter whose work explores the emotional and material intensity of Divergent Expressionism, the personal language I have developed through gesture, texture, and chromatic tension. My paintings emerge from a physical and intuitive engagement with the canvas, where movement, layered matter, and energetic resonance shape dynamic fields of expression.

Working from Castellbisbal (Barcelona), I create large‑format works that evoke inner landscapes, cosmic expansion, and the raw pulse of creation. Each piece evolves through successive states of transformation, leaving visible traces of impulse, rupture, and memory. My practice embraces change as a structural element: the painting becomes an organism that reveals its own process.

My work has been exhibited in institutional and cultural spaces, and I am included in the AAAeE – Archivo de Artistas Abstractos Españoles (Fundación Juan March). My presence in the contemporary art scene is shaped by a commitment to authenticity, experimentation, and the construction of a unique visual identity.

Although my work circulates publicly, my paintings are not for sale. My practice is rooted in process, research, and emotional truth rather than commercial intention. Each piece exists as part of an ongoing exploration rather than as an object destined for the market.

Alongside my studio practice, I develop a theoretical body of writing that expands the foundations of Divergent Expressionism. My ongoing research can be found in my conceptual archive:

Expresionismo Divergente

Divergent Expressionism is the artistic language I have developed as a response to the limits of traditional abstraction. My work emerges from a state of heightened presence, where gesture, matter, and intuition converge to form a visual territory that is both visceral and reflective. Each painting is the result of an encounter between impulse and structure, chaos and order, accident and intention.

Rather than seeking representation, my practice focuses on the energetic trace of the creative act. Thick textures, layered pigments, and dynamic chromatic tensions become evidence of a process that is alive, unpredictable, and deeply connected to the body. The canvas is not a surface to be filled, but a field of resonance where emotion, memory, and movement coexist.

Divergent Expressionism embraces transformation. A work may evolve over hours or days, shifting as my own internal state shifts. This openness to change is essential: the painting grows with me, revealing new paths, new rhythms, new intensities. What remains constant is the search for authenticity — a raw, unfiltered visual language that speaks directly to the viewer.

My intention is not to impose meaning, but to invite contemplation. Each piece offers a space where viewers can project their own narratives, sensations, and interpretations. In this way, the work becomes a shared experience, a dialogue between the visible and the invisible, the artist and the observer.

Serie Azul 1 “Serie Azul 1”

Serie Azul 1 explores the emotional depth and atmospheric tension of Divergent Expressionism through a restrained yet powerful chromatic field. Layers of blue tones interact with subtle textures and gestural movements, creating a sense of fluidity, introspection, and quiet intensity. The work invites the viewer into a contemplative space where light, shadow, and matter converge, revealing a landscape that is both intimate and expansive.

Serie Azul 2 “Serie Azul 2”

Azul 2 deepens the exploration of Divergent Expressionism through a more intense and atmospheric chromatic field. Layers of blue unfold in shifting densities, creating a sense of depth, movement, and quiet tension. Subtle textures and gestural traces emerge from beneath the surface, suggesting an inner landscape that oscillates between serenity and turbulence. The work invites contemplation, offering a space where light, emotion, and matter converge in a fluid, evolving dialogue.

Cosmos Cromático “Cosmos Cromático”

Cosmos Cromática is a large‑scale exploration of Divergent Expressionism, where color, gesture, and matter collide to evoke the vastness of a living universe. Expansive chromatic fields, layered textures, and dynamic movements create a sense of cosmic energy in constant transformation. The work invites the viewer into an immersive space where light, emotion, and chaos coexist, suggesting the birth of stars, the pulse of nebulae, and the silent tension of the unknown.

Nacimiento del Cosmos “Nacimiento del Cosmos”

Nacimiento del Cosmos captures the explosive moment where matter, light, and energy first emerge into existence. Through vibrant chromatic contrasts, fluid gestures, and layered textures, the work evokes the birth of a universe in motion. Metallic surfaces interact with luminous blues and magentas, suggesting expansion, turbulence, and the emergence of form from primordial chaos. The piece invites the viewer into a dynamic, transformative space where creation becomes a living, unfolding event.

Llenguatge sense Paraules “Llenguatge sense Paraules”

This work embodies the energetic core of Divergent Expressionism through bold chromatic contrasts and dynamic, textured gestures. A sweeping yellow form intersects with deep blue and vibrant red, creating a sense of tension, movement, and raw emotional force. Layers of color and matter collide across the surface, evoking an inner landscape where chaos and structure coexist. The piece invites the viewer into a space of intensity and transformation, where each gesture becomes a trace of lived experience.
