ARTIST STATEMENT

D.M.Ross - Contemporary Cubist

I am resident in Melbourne and have been painting for many years. Despite having no formal art education or training I began painting to release a simple creative urge.

My love of the analytical style and beauty of Cubism drove me to pursue my own version of this genre.

As a way of displaying my efforts I launched my web site www.dmross.net in 2001.
This has led to collectors from many parts of the world (Japan, USA, Europe, Asia the Middle East ) and also from my own country of Australia, purchasing my work.

My “real world” exhibition history has been limited to one solo show and regular participation in group shows.
