Mita Vora, a Mumbai based artist, was born in Mumbai, state of Maharashtra, India. She has a diploma in interior designing from Nirmala Nikatan College of Polytechnic, Mumbai. 
 
Mita is a passionate artist and started her artistic endeavour and creative journey from the year 2014. Currently she is an emerging artist in Indian contemporary art world, who has over 3 solo exhibitions and 12 group exhibitions in significant venues in India. Such as International collector's art fair, AIFACS, New Delhi- 2020,   India Art Festival,  Nehru Center, Mumbai- 2019 & 2022,   Artival Contemporary Art Fair, World Trade Center,  Mumbai- 2018 & 2022,   Aart Souok6, D D Neroy Art Gallery, Mumbai- 2020,   Awadh Art Festival,  AIFACS,  New Delhi- 2021,   International Art Competition,  Torso- 2021,   Camel Art Foundation,  annual art & design contest-2021,  Maithili contemporary exhibition of paintings,  The Art Entrance Gallery,  Mumbai- 2023, Chitrakathhi contemporary solo exhibition,  Mumbai- 2023 etc;
 
Mita has received certificate of merit gold award,  The Creative Pearls-II, Mumbai- 2020, and also graced the best art award with an honorable mentioned in the animals category- 2023.
 
While working on the theme of present scenario,  she finds her muse in the majestic tiger, drawing inspiration from its grace and power, Working predominantly in ink with a monochrome palette, she infuses life into her creations by delicately adding splashes of colour to the exes, capturing the essence of vitality amidst the subdued tones of her art.
