I came to the United States in 1990, the same year democracy finally broke through Chile’s long silence. But by then, art had already claimed me. I fell in love with its boundless freedom — its refusal to be caged. And when I found the lens, I found a home. The camera became my portal, carrying me into spaces where it was just me, the subject, and the quiet alchemy of beauty.

I am a self-taught photographer. My work is driven by a fascination with light — how it shapes, conceals, and reveals. I use it to create illusions that stretch beyond what the eye sees, pushing against the edges of the ordinary, always chasing that moment where reality blurs into magic.
