I am a Norwegian artist who works in different media, - mostly with oil- and acrylic paintings. The motives I often get from music, lyrics and nature. You will often find people in motion in my works, although I like the meeting with life in all sentences. The human body fascinates me. I would mostly describe my motives as happy.
Since 1995 I’ve been a fulltime-painter. 2007-2009 I was a student at “Strykejernet artschool” in Oslo, and I have studied at “Christiania Free academy” in Oslo and “Studio Giambo” in Florence a.o. Today I have my own workshop in my hometown, “Atelier Astrup”.

I have been exhibiting in several places, both in Norway and abroad.
