Warped Mind Designs is the concept of owner Owen Twitchell. Owen is a professional ski bum with 25 years of skiing, snowboarding and bartending experience but no formal training in design. Twitchell sees this as a distinct advantage. With only the broadest guidelines gleaned from writings by the likes of Leonardo DaVinci and Buckminster Fuller he feels that his designs are free from conventional technical inhibitions. Many of his designs are inspired by the shapes and forms found in natural surroundings of beautiful Central Oregon where he lives
