Sabine Mannheims

Sabine Mannheims

Location: Germany

Sabine Mannheims, born in Cologne in 1961, has lived in Nuremberg since 2010. Her artistic career began autodidactically and was further developed through studies at art academies, the Faber-Castell Academy, and in spatial design/interior architecture. Her work encompasses painting, photography, digital fine art, and objects. In her photography, architectural black-and-white images shape her view of spaces and structures; in her painting, she prefers to work with mixed media using acrylics, pigments, wax, shellac, and resin. She bases each work on traces of thought that invite the viewer to their own interpretations. Since the beginning, she has participated continuously in solo and group exhibitions and has received significant awards, including the Langmatz Art Prize (2013) and participation in international exhibitions such as the 28th, 29th, and 35th International Art Exhibitions in Hollfeld. In 2024/2025, she presented works at now/new/next (Coburg Art Association) and the Ampertal Art Prize. Further shows followed at WELCOME10, HALL OF ART (GEDOK Franken) and HeimART. The viewer your art is invited to search for traces and develop your own interpretations
