Nik Land, de son nom Nicole Landry, est une artiste peintre canadienne originaire de Jonquière, au Québec. Autodidacte, elle a également suivi deux années de cours de peinture qui ont enrichi sa pratique et son exploration des techniques mixtes.

Intuitive et sensible à ce qui l’entoure, elle puise son inspiration dans ses expériences, les personnes, ses lectures, l’actualité et les émotions qui l’habitent. Son travail abstrait se construit à travers la couleur, la matière, les superpositions et le mouvement.

Pour Nik Land, peindre est une façon de s’exprimer sans paroles. Chaque œuvre devient un espace de recherche intérieure où elle accepte de laisser une part à l’imprévu et invite le spectateur à ressentir, questionner et découvrir sa propre interprétation.

Nik Land, born Nicole Landry, is a Canadian painter from Jonquière, Quebec. A self-taught artist, she also completed two years of painting classes that enriched her practice and exploration of mixed media.
