I am a contemporary self-taught artist working with textured surfaces, mixed media, and symbolic imagery. In my work, I combine acrylic paints, textured pastes, plaster, natural elements, epoxy resin, and experimental techniques to create multilayered compositions. Since childhood, I have loved fairy tales and mythology, and this has left its mark on my work. In Finland, I am surrounded by nature—subtle, austere, majestic, and tranquil.
Therefore, my works include elements reminiscent of stones, cliffs, and trees. I am an open and sociable person, and I love holidays. Therefore, some of my works are quite vibrant.
Fortunately or unfortunately, I don't have a single style or technique. I believe this reflects my inner world. One day I can be quiet and austere, and the next, a fountain of emotion. And I truly value diversity.
I sincerely hope that viewers will find something emotionally touching in my work. Otherwise, I remain grateful for your attention and am happy to try to make the world a brighter place.
Between Myth and Matter is a series of abstract, textured works that explore the meeting point of imagination and material form. The artworks combine emotional expression, symbolism, and layered surfaces, inviting the viewer into a space between reality and myth.
The painting is created using fluid acrylic technique. The scene is filled with mystery and magic. In the center of the composition, a feminine figure with wings can be discerned, as if a fairy herself were born from color and chaos.
A unique fusion of fiery tones and dynamic, chaotic movement intertwined with rich texture. The composition evokes the sensation of a dance of flames, while the textured elements resemble dragon claws, as if the creature itself is enveloped in vibrant fire.
The painting Echo of Valhalla transports the viewer into a mystical world of Norse mythology, where time and space merge into one. The work conveys a sense of an ancient force—like echoes from the hall of the gods, Valhalla, where the stories of heroes live on forever.
