Ernst Nagel

Ernst Nagel, born in 1944, had a life-long career in publishing until his retirement sparked a rediscovery for his teenage love: painting.
Now, the self-described "reborn painter" works in a high tempo and in great figures having produced over 1000 land and sea and airscapes.
Nagel identifies his work with abstract-impressionism; minimalistic to the extent that this landscapes and seascapes and airscapes are at times more appropriately "no-scapes at all" .
Expositions in The Netherlands and New Zealand.
