Travel and direct experience are essential to my process. Visiting botanical gardens, parks, zoos, and other natural spaces gives me the opportunity to observe how environments change with time, weather, and movement. These encounters become visual notes that I translate into paintings and drawings, preserving the atmosphere of a place as much as its form.
My work is grounded in close observation of the natural world and the quiet spaces where light, structure, and atmosphere meet. I am drawn to landscapes, botanical settings, and everyday environments that often go unnoticed. These places offer a sense of stillness and contemplation that continues to shape my painting practice.
