Biography
Kathy (b.1951) was born in London and lives in Hertfordshire, UK. Her Passion for dance and the dynamics of movement are the inspiration for her tactile and sensuous sculptures eclipsing all her previous passions. She uses the enigmatic body of a dancer as it becomes simplified when caught in a moment of time, expressing the joy in the spirit, and beauty of the human figure. Kathy uses strong lines of classical purity mixed with the dynanism and energy of a more contemporary reality, overcoming the struggle for spirituality in an over materialistic world.
Kathy has exhibited nationally and won many awards for her work.
