Patti is an abstract artist who hails from Detroit but has been living in So Minneapolis for so long that she thinks she might understand Minnesotans. Her bold and colorful work evokes various emotions and brings different meanings to her audiences. Patti has recently retired from her day gig is Director of communications and fund development for the African Development Center in Minneapolis. She’s a late night radio dj for fresh air radio, kfai.org.
I sent this one to California to an old friend of mine who's a rock critic and booking agent with sublime tastes apparently; he mailed it back to me with a note "Sorry, but this just didn't 'sing' to me".... It's since won an award and was featured in an exhibit at Rogue Buddha Gallery in NE Mpls.
We tried to have a real koi pond but we live in Minneapolis and they froze....
Don't ask me about these titles - I have no idea of why this is called "Progress"....
