I am Cansu Sönmez. I was born in ?stanbul - Turkey in 1991 and live here. I was graduated at Marmara University of Art, 2013. I often use lifeless and artificial cases at my artworks. I chose special colors and use my paint oil on canvas or sometimes screen printing and other printmaking techniques. My subjects are about sometimes social topics sometimes my inner world. My images have fed difficulties that the creatures face dangers in today and at the future. Background of my artworks involve forcing to be monotype, the female body, to forget the past, pressure on the society and absurdity. All these events give me an artificial feeling in my life, in my world and happenings around me. Because of that feeling, I started to interest mannequins that my artworks usually about.
