I did not become an artist. I was born one and have spent my life perfecting it.
this is one of my favorite paintings i have ever painted. this one with watercolor on silk. there ia alot of detail here with quite a story going on.
About two year ago after many years of painting in traditional Chinese styles I began painting in virtual reality. The subject matter has increased and I try to stick to my traditional Chinese style while paiting in virtual reality. I use Oculus/Rift and the QUILL app. I think you may be as surprised as I was at what can be painted with this new and exciting medium.
My brother sends me photos of these little still lives or set ups. This is one i recently painted in VR using Quest 3 and the QUILL APP.
This painting was done in virtual reality using QUEST 3 and the QUILL APP.
Done in VR using QUILL app.
I do a weekly Humpday painting. This is my 7th year..
This painting was done in virtual reality using QUEST 3 and the QUILL app. I just liked traditional style mixing with VR. Unexpected.
This too was done in VR using my QUEST 3 and the QUILL app. I love the red cars and the movement in this painting. And i love the Italian landscape.
I am in love with pollard trees as was van Gogh. The old ones are very moving.
There is something about the stare of an Irish Wolfhound. And i miss it alot.
This one just worked. I am glad it did.
What can i say? It's what Spring does.
The gentle beginning of Spring.
I have been painting in traditional Chinese styles for many decades. Even the pieces that are not actually Traditional are heavily influenced by their art theories. So i am creating this new portfolio to showcase both.
