Andre Wessels

Good day, my name is Andre Wessels.

I am a pharmacist by profession, but at heart I have always been a conservationist, an entrepreneur, a photographer, and above all, an animal lover.

From a young age, my parents taught my siblings and me something that shaped the course of my life: animals and nature are not here for us to use — they are here for us to protect. We are caretakers, not owners. The earth does not belong to us; we belong to it. That belief never left me.

Pharmacy was my career, and I dedicated many years to serving people’s health. But when government intervention placed immense pressure on the profession, my path became uncertain. What felt like a crisis at the time became a turning point.

Instead of giving up, I returned to what has always made me feel alive — the wild.

I began investing deeply in photography training, refining my technical skills, and spending more time in nature reserves and remote landscapes. Every trip into the bush reminded me why I started. The early morning light over a silent savanna. The quiet strength in the eyes of a lion. The fragile beauty of a bird in flight. These are not just images — they are stories of survival, resilience, and wonder.

That is how Andre Art Images was born.

Through my photographs and artwork, I want to share the beauty of wildlife and nature with you — not just as decoration for a wall, but as a reminder of what we must protect.

My vision goes beyond selling art. The funds raised through my galleries will be used to acquire and protect land, to establish and support game farms and conservation areas where wildlife can live safely and naturally. My dream is to create spaces where animals are protected, habitats are restored, and future generations can still experience the magic of the wild.

Every photograph you purchase is not just art. It is part of a larger mission. It is conservation in action.

Thank you for being part of this journey.

Flowers in Bloom

Flowers remind us of life and the beauty we can experience. All we have to do is look and we will see the transformation, into something spectacular and beautiful.

Morning Grace “Morning Grace”

This photograph captures a single cosmos flower in the quiet stillness of early morning. The world is not fully awake yet. Soft light gently touches its delicate petals, while tiny droplets of dew rest on the surrounding pebbles like scattered diamonds.
Long green grass leans inward, almost protectively, as if guarding this small moment of beauty. There is something deeply peaceful about the scene — no noise, no rush, just the calm breath of a new day beginning.
The dew will soon disappear. The light will grow stronger. The day will move on. But in this moment, everything feels pure and unhurried.
To me, this photograph is a reminder that beauty does not need to be loud to be powerful. Sometimes the most extraordinary moments are the quiet ones — waiting patiently in the early morning light.

Experience life as it happens

Life is all about taking chances, take every moment and make the best of it. You have not lived until you've experienced what life has to offer. Live like there is no tomorrow.

Into the Horizon “Into the Horizon”

A lone surfer walks quietly into the ocean on a beach in Hawaii as the day slowly fades into evening. The sky is overcast, soft clouds stretching across the horizon, yet the sunset still finds a way to glow — gentle, muted, and honest.
The fading light reflects off the water and dances across the silhouettes of palm trees that frame this small, secluded shoreline. Everything feels still, almost sacred. No crowds. No noise. Just the rhythm of the waves and the steady footsteps of someone answering the call of the sea.
There is something deeply human in this moment — the courage to walk forward, the calm before immersion, the quiet connection between person and ocean. It is not just a scene of surfing. It is a moment of trust, reflection, and surrender to something greater than ourselves.
This photograph captures that pause between land and sea, between day and night — where light lingers just long enough to remind us that even on cloudy evenings, beauty remains.

AI-generated images

AI is the future, where every art piece is unique and special. It is where digital and art comes together to bring you spectacular images

A Mother’s Watch “A Mother’s Watch”

This AI-generated artwork captures a tender moment between a cheetah mother and her cubs in the golden savannah grass. The mother lowers her head to gently scent one of her cubs — a quiet gesture of recognition, reassurance, and deep instinctive love.
Beside her, the second cub looks outward, its small body alert, eyes scanning the horizon as if already learning the ancient language of survival.
There is softness here — but there is also strength.
In the wild, love is not loud. It is protective. It is vigilant. It is teaching through presence. The tall grass moves around them like a living ocean, hiding them from danger while reminding us how fragile their world truly is.
Though this piece is created through AI, the emotion it reflects is timeless and real: a mother’s devotion, the innocence of youth, and the constant balance between tenderness and survival in the African wilderness.
It is a tribute to instinct, protection, and the quiet power of motherhood in the wild.

Arctic Awakening

This close-up photograph captures a polar bear emerging from icy waters in a powerful, living moment. As it rises, it shakes its massive head, sending a perfect halo of water droplets into the cold Arctic air.
For a split second, time seems suspended. Each droplet catches the light, sparkling against the bear’s thick white fur. Strength and grace meet in one instinctive motion — raw, untamed, and completely alive.
There is something deeply moving about witnessing such power at close range. The bear is not posing. It is simply being — resilient, adapted, and at home in one of the harshest environments on Earth.
This image is more than action frozen in time. It is a reminder of endurance. Of survival. Of a species perfectly shaped by ice and sea — yet increasingly vulnerable in a changing world.
In that spray of water and quiet intensity, we are invited not just to admire the wild… but to protect it.

The Animal Kingdom

These portraits capture wild animals in their true habitat, unguarded moment. Every detail of every photograph becomes personal.
In this stillness, we see more than just an animal. We see character. Experience. These portraits invite you closer — not to fear them, but to respect them.
The photographs are about presence. About quiet authority. About the dignity of wild souls that rules not through noise, but through their being.

The King in Silence “The King in Silence”

This close-up portrait captures a male lion in a quiet, unguarded moment. His head is turned slightly to the side, his powerful jaw relaxed, his mouth just slightly open as if caught between a breath and a thought.
The background fades away into softness, leaving nothing to distract from his presence. Every detail becomes personal — the texture of his mane, the scars that hint at past battles, the intensity in his gaze. There is strength here, but also wisdom: power, yet patience.
He does not need to roar to command attention.
In this stillness, we see more than a predator. We see character. Experience. A lifetime written into golden fur and steady eyes. The portrait invites us closer — not to fear him, but to respect him.
This image is about presence. About quiet authority. About the dignity of a wild soul that rules not through noise, but through being.

Shadow and Grace “Shadow and Grace”

This portrait captures a leopard in quiet profile, its face turned gently to the side as if listening to something beyond the frame. The background falls away into complete blackness, leaving nothing but the animal’s presence suspended in light.
Without distraction, every detail becomes intimate — the fine whiskers, the intricate pattern of rosettes, the calm intensity in its eye. The darkness does not hide the leopard; it elevates it. It allows the strength, elegance, and mystery of this magnificent predator to speak for itself.
There is something deeply powerful about seeing the wild this close. No landscape. No movement. Just character.
This image is about contrast — light and shadow, power and stillness, seen and unseen. In the silence of the black background, the leopard does not need to move to command attention. Its quiet gaze is enough.
A portrait not just of an animal, but of presence itself.
