Location: Romania
My name is Noémi Eva Marian, I was born in Oradea, Romania. I graduated
from the University of Fine Arts in Oradea in 2007 and then completed my
master's degree in Art Therapy and Sculpture in 2011. I currently work as an
art teacher in several rural schools and a high school in Oradea. I am not only
involved in art education, but I have also been active as a visual artist since
graduating from university. I have participated in numerous group exhibitions
both within the country and abroad. In 2023, I had a solo exhibition at the Tibor
Ernő Art Gallery in Oradea, where I have been a member of the community since
2020. I have also participated in many art camps, among which I would like to
mention the Vámospércs International Women's Art Camp (Hungary), the
Mezőbergenyei Creative Camp, the Micskei Creative Camp (Romania), and the year
before last I was able to join the Hortobágyi Káplár Miklós International Art
Colony, not only as a participant, but also as a member of the association.
Last year I had the opportunity to participate in the Baptist Creative Week in
Pécs, as a visual artist.
I have been able to develop a lot in recent years as a Christian artist,
because I have learned that with our art we do not only create colors and
figurative forms, but also draw from God and convey heavenly thoughts, which
will later have a great impact on people's lives. A Christian artist must
always point to God with his works, presenting beautiful and true values as a
mirror.
My art encompasses a very diverse subject, because I have tried many
different techniques, experimenting with various materials. With my works, I
not only show external forms, but also my inner spiritual world, as the colors,
shapes, and compositions encompass different themes. There was a theme that
occupied me for years, but there is also a theme that still lives in me today.
As a Christian artist, I often see works related to faith, which show my
personal relationship with Christ.
My works have a very mixed theme, as they range from landscapes to abstract
works. Such works include inner dreams, visions, figurative, non-figurative,
and expressionist works. We can also include landscapes, the relationship
between men and women, the color changes of the road, the love of music,
abstract and stylized forms, and the dominance of colors. And one last thought
about the works: you should not only look at them, but also understand and
merge with their message.
