Waiting at 9th St. Station “Waiting at 9th St. Station”

The scene at this subway station in NYC was visually intriguing. I reacted to the lines, colors, and the other-worldly feeling of the moment.

Painted Rock on the Colorado “Painted Rock on the Colorado”

The rugged cliffs along the Colorado River are for me, an example of Nature's abstract qualities. I reacted to the colors, lines, and patterns they contain.

At Rest on Rusted Metal “At Rest on Rusted Metal”

A "still life" encountered while walking along a wooded path; the former site of a farm. This rusted piece of farm equipment was a beautiful surface for the fallen leaves.

Stop & Sip “Stop & Sip”

A beautiful butterfly and a beautiful flower; perfect together!

Flowing Tree Bark “Flowing Tree Bark”

Seen upclose, tree bark lines, patterns and shapes emphasize its abstract qualities.

Lily Pad Patterns “Lily Pad Patterns”

Floating Lily pads and their inky shadows.
