Mike Mayone is a self-taught, award-winning Vermont fine artist who works in a wide range of mediums and styles, but he is best known for his beautifully realistic landscapes and intricately detailed miniatures. Mike’s paintings and drawings range from amusing folk art to startling photo-realism, from scenes of favorite local vistas to custom illustration and portraiture for hire. His commissioned artwork has included every imaginable subject (and Mike takes great pride in delighting his clients), but when working from the heart, he most enjoys capturing the magnificence of Vermont -- her natural beauty, creatures and architecture.

Most of the displayed paintings are Acrylics, with a Graphite piece, a pair of Oils and a Watercolor tossed into the mix. I also enjoy working in Pen & Ink and Pastels as well.
