Émie Morissette is a Canadian figurative oil painter from Quebec whose work is rooted in storytelling, emotion and character. She founded her first fine arts school in 2015 and has since developed a multidisciplinary artistic career combining painting, teaching and performance.

Her work has been exhibited and recognized in Canada and internationally. In 2018, she received the Silver Medal from the Académie Arts-Sciences-Lettres in Paris, where eight of her works were also exhibited at Galerie Thuillier. In 2021, she was selected to represent Canada in Contemporary Art of Excellence – Volume IV. Her paintings have received several awards, including multiple People’s Choice Awards, and in 2026 she will receive the International Prize Rembrandt in Barcelona.

Through her figurative paintings, Morissette seeks to create images that tell a story, evoke emotion and remain in the viewer’s memory.
