Darcy is an Alabama based artist born and raised in small town Pennsylvania. She earned a BS in Fashion Design at Philadelphia University and enjoyed using her creative talents in her work in the apparel industry. Now she applies her creativity to painting. She is mostly known for her use of bright color and textures in florals and landscapes. She works mainly in acrylic on canvas and is constantly inspired by the natural world and colors around her.
Darcy currently works as a self employed artist and art Instructor. She teaches painting classes at several local retirement homes in her community as well as preschool and elementary after school art programs.
With a husband and four children to raise and care for, she balances her time and continues to pursue her passion for art and encouraging others in their creativity.
